Government Unit in Social Studies
Hello families,
We are about half way through our Government Unit in Social Studies. Students have taken two quizzes which are scored and available in Powerschool. They will have two more quizzes before the unit test; one quiz this Friday and the following will take place next Wednesday. In my Google Classroom, you will find many resources to help them prepare for these assessments. Much is memorization, so I've attached quizlets for practice, video resources, and various games to the Google Classroom.
There will be one extra credit opportunity for the unit test. If students can memorize the Preamble to the Constitution, they will receive 5 bonus points. There are many Preamble resources in the Google Classroom, and the text is here. Maybe your child wants to practice reciting it with you? 😉
Thanks for your support.
